"Swan Lake" in Beijing

In 2009, by commission of the Ministry of Culture of China, the ballet performance “Swan Lake” was produced. Its feature was that it was shown on the water site – in the famous Olympic pool in Beijing “Watercube”, and that the ballet parts performed “on the land” were supplemented with water acts in the performance of synchronized swimming team and divers. The performance was run daily for two summer months and collected from 5 to 7 thousand viewers per show.
 
Participants: Imperial Russian Ballet under direction of G. Taranda, a group of synchronized swimmers u/d of G. Maximova, Chinese divers.
